Our Virtual Clinical Observation Program provides pre-health students with a personal and
authentic understanding of medicine from anywhere in the world. Through this course, the
student will gain valuable observation experience and guidance as they continue their own
educational advancement into a career as an aspiring healthcare professional. The program will
feature live and pre-recorded components, standardized patients, unparalleled student
engagement, and interface with healthcare professionals from UT Southwestern Medical
Our curriculum is designed by professional educators in healthcare and shall be delivered
through a state-of-the-art learning management system. We will integrate innovative clinical
experiences with the professional competencies outlined by the Association of American
Medical Colleges. These virtual observation hours may be submitted as part of health sciences
program applications, including medical school (acceptance of virtual observation hours may
vary depending on the institution).
